I just came across the following post on antiwar and was really impressed by how well I thought it pinpoints the biggest problem with the Republican Party and with Bush & Cheney specifically. Feel free to read if you're interested.

A letter a friend of mine recently wrote to Bush Inc, president@whitehouse.gov:

Mr. Bush,

I doubt the president actually sees this email, all by design I am sure.

I am a marine vet from the first gulf war, and was all for the invasion of Iraq in 2003 based on the information you and your administration claimed to have, you know, the wmd smoking gun. Now I along with a growing number of people in this country and many other countries would like truth, simply truth sir.

Do you know what 37 percent of 25,000 dead Iraqi civillians comes to? 9250. Are you okay with that number? God damn, you really think you are doing the right thing? Had any leader of any other country on planet earth sent their military to a foreign land to kill kill kill that would be seriously frowned upon by you, especially if innocent civillians are among the dead. So what makes it okay in your case to act as a tyrant?

I mean no disrespect, just wish you were really in this to help the world, rather than pushing your agenda and personal beliefs on others.

Are you currently drawing income in any shape or form based on any decision you made while serving the citizens of this great country? I hate the idea this could be true.

I see this as a total conflict of interest if in fact you have drawn any income from any of the goings on behind the scenes as well as publicly, based on any decisions or policies penned under your watch.

What did happen to all of those wmd's anyway?

Respectfully Submitted,
